On his 14th birthday, Kitahara Yukiya, the only son who helps out at "Yukino-tei," a restaurant in a small, bustling ski resort town, learns a shocking truth from his father.

His own mother is a Snow Woman.

While Yukiya is astonished by this unbelievable truth, further complications arise.

Incredibly, his mother's blood awakens, transforming him into a Yukin-musume—a child of a Snow Woman.
