Melissa Altner, who lost her homeland, rises to become the Grand Saintess of the Autumn Kingdom. Afterward, she is ordered to bring fertility to a great winter nation and thus enters into a marriage contract (a "white marriage") that temporarily allows her to use autumn magic in other countries.

However, she continued to be treated terribly in previous countries, and grew weary of the demands from two nations, each claiming a national crisis, for her dispatch. Sympathizing with Melissa's plight, Fira, the Goddess of Autumn, and Olive, the Goddess of Winter, cooperate to help her escape to the nation of Locca, where she is asked to solve a certain problem.

In the nation of the Holy Beast tribe with drooping rabbit ears, she meets a young man named Wolf. Although he welcomes Melissa, she becomes dejected, thinking she isn't highly anticipated because there's no one else around. However, she soon learns that all the citizens except Wolf have been frozen solid, and the two cooperate to find the cause.

As they slowly open their hearts to each other, it seems Wolf has a secret he's keeping—?
