Ayukawa Haru, summoned as a Saint to prevent a great disaster, an appraisal revealed she possessed no magical power whatsoever. Her summoning was invalidated, and Haru was cast aside. Reluctantly, she found herself working as a cleaner, aided by kind innkeepers, to make ends meet.
Haru is then pursued by Victor, the summoner, who insists, "My summoning should have succeeded!"
Despite their quarrels, with Haru vehemently declaring, "What you did was a state-sponsored kidnapping!", she cannot bring herself to abandon Victor, whose body was ravaged by the summoning, and ends up taking care of him.
Haru marvels, "Magic produces beautiful, golden, star-like dust, doesn't it?" only to be told, "No one else can see that." Despite her complete lack of magical power, when she's experimentally attacked with magic, it has no effect on her.
As Haru consistently refutes suggestions like, "Haru must be a Saint after all..." with, "No, you've got the wrong person," she gradually acclimates to this other world.
Is Haru a Saint, or merely mistaken for one? And will the great disaster truly come to pass?
Despite being entangled in the troubles of this other world, Haru remains positive, determined to enjoy her life in the kingdom. Gradually, those around her begin to change, influenced by Haru's personality.
This is a story of Haru's life in another world, beginning with an involuntary summoning, and her gradual growth into a strong and resilient individual.
