As they progressed through high school and into university, Haruka's possessive devotion intensified, driven by a fear of losing Misaki to other admirers.

Misaki's perspective reveals a more pragmatic initial view of Haruka as a convenient tool. While she acknowledges saving Haruka, it was more out of annoyance with bullies than genuine altruism. However, Haruka's unwavering devotion and adoration began to affect Misaki. During their university years, while in a tennis club, Misaki experiences a turning point when Haruka is confessed to by a male club member. In a surprising outburst, Misaki claims Haruka as her "slave" and kisses her, solidifying their perceived status as a lesbian couple.

Haruka, realizing the depth of her own feelings, expresses anger at Misaki's actions and initiates a passionate kiss, acknowledging her love for Misaki. The narrative concludes with them as a couple, their relationship now one of mutual love and devotion, though Haruka's "slave" role has evolved into a more equal partnership, with Misaki still asserting her dominance in affectionate ways. They embrace their unique bond, finding solace and happiness in each other's company, shutting out the outside world.
