Holy Knight William, a member of the Hero's party, was caught in the collapse of the Demon King's Castle and left behind in the Demon World.
A year later, after being rescued by his companions and returning, he reunites with Alicia, his former fiancée, who has since married the Hero.
Despite the awkward air and their mutual curse of fate's cruel twist, the two parted ways cleanly. However, William remains unaware of the truth hidden behind the incident.
