I am Koichi Okita, the vanguard of Japan's strongest party, striving to conquer the Tokyo Dungeon—one of seven high-level dungeons that must be cleared to prevent the world's destruction.

The path to conquering the dungeon is arduous, brutal, and long. After half a year of exploration, I returned with injured comrades, only to find my girlfriend had been stolen by the party leader, who had stayed behind due to injury, and that I was being blamed for the exploration's failure.

My reputation as the strongest explorer and a popular streaming adventurer plummeted. Amidst a huge public backlash, I left the party.

That's what I thought, but only Haruka Miyanaga, a fellow party member and my ex-girlfriend's sister, comforted me.

After leaving the party, I reconsidered and felt relieved to be rid of the other members, who were all jerks except for Haruka. I decided to head for a dungeon in the Pacific Ocean that I had been curious about for a while, where I met a fluffy fairy.

Meanwhile, those jerks returned to conquering the Tokyo Dungeon, but it seems they could only progress about half as far as before. Serves them right!

Furthermore, the truth about that jerk stealing my girlfriend, causing me emotional distress, and then expelling me by blaming me for the exploration's failure came to light, causing a huge public uproar.

They tried to push forward with the conquest, hoping for a comeback, but they failed and were wiped out.

However, to my disgust, they threatened Haruka and took her with them. Monsters closed in on Haruka. In that situation, she called for my help, just as she had promised.

I arrived on the scene thanks to the power of the item I had given her and instantly annihilated the monsters.

All their other crimes were exposed and pursued, and that jerk and his jerk of a father, the Dungeon Association President, were overthrown. But I continued... until Haruka confessed to me, leading to a happy end!

She asked me to explore with her, so of course, I'll put my best into that.
