The protagonist, Kalm, a former human from Earth who was reincarnated into this world as a demon, tried his best to avoid any battles he could. By dedicating himself to fending off any trouble that came his way, he somehow became quite strong before he knew it.

One day, a demon who was undeniably stronger than him suddenly appeared before him. That demon offered a proposition: "You seem quite strong. With that much power, you could become the Demon Lord. What do you say?" But Kalm had no right of refusal.
