Though born a commoner, she possessed magical power and eventually enrolled in a magic academy, also known as the Aristocratic Academy. However, Claudia's school life was far from enjoyable.

Claudia spent her days repeatedly being confessed to or approached by someone. "Somehow, this really feels a bit strange, doesn't it?" One day, while she was thinking such thoughts, she received a direct summons from none other than the Crown Prince of the country.
The Prince claimed Claudia's presence was hindering his search for a bride. Apparently, according to him, Claudia was unconsciously using "Charm Magic."
