When we were small, there was no 'difference' between us,

but she gradually transformed into an admired figure, far beyond the reach of someone like me, an unpopular introvert.

However, in the spring of our third year of junior high, that very Yume confessed her feelings to me, and we began to date.

This is the story of how I broke up with Yume, convinced that being with someone like me wasn't good for her, and what happens one year after that.
