In Kagami Akito's class, there's a girl named Aoyama Hiori. Hiori, who is both brilliant and beautiful, receives many confessions, mostly from boys, but turns them all down. Her cool demeanor, her perpetual lack of a smile, and her silver hair have even led some to call her the "Absolute Zero Lady."

Akito has been harboring feelings for Hiori ever since he fell for her at first sight about half a year ago. However, fearing rejection, he was unable to confess.

One spring day after school, Akito helps Hiori when he sees her struggling with spilled trash. At that moment, Akito musters his courage and confesses his feelings to Hiori.
