That the old man who trained him in the mountains was, in fact, a Sword Saint hailed as the strongest in the world.

And that no matter how advanced civilization might be, this is still an alternate world where swords and magic exist.

While this work is an isekai reincarnation story, its fantasy elements are quite scarce (especially after Chapter 1).

The military is armed with guns and tanks, and the threat of monsters isn't particularly severe. Instead, it's a world where crime and terrorism pose a greater danger.

By the way, in a gun vs. sword fight, the sword typically wins (though it depends on skill).
