Luca from Polka Village knew he had been granted a rare "Blessing." However, on the day of his examination when he turned twelve, it was misunderstood as an insignificant ability, and he continued his days as a hunter in the village.

Approximately three years later, his younger brother's examination day arrived, revealing him to possess the rare "Blessing: Magic-User." He was to leave the village and attend a magic academy. While Luca had high hopes for his brother's bright future, his brother Licht used the "attendant slot" granted by the school to involve Luca, taking him along to the Royal Capital.
