Description
Lady Evelina, the Duke's daughter, is denounced by the Prince and has her engagement annulled on the baseless charge of harming the Saint. Harboring resentment towards the two, Evelina commissions the assassination of the Saint. However, the plan fails, and she is thrown into prison.
Though Evelina was condemned to execution, it was never carried out. Her butler, Cyrus, confessed that he was the true culprit. Realizing Cyrus had sacrificed himself for her, Evelina, consumed by intense regret, took her own life.
However, upon waking, she found herself back in the royal palace on the day her engagement was annulled. Evelina, having returned to the past, resolves to live her second life without harboring resentment towards anyone, and solely to make Cyrus happy.
