A novelization has been confirmed by Hero Bunko.

The release date is April 30th. The title will be changed from "The Tank with 9999 HP and an SSR Skill, Expelled from the Hero's Party" to "The Strongest Tank's Dungeon Capture."

Furthermore, starting May 4th, a manga adaptation will begin serialization on Manga UP! The title will be "The Strongest Tank's Dungeon Capture ~The Tank with 9999 HP and a Rare Skill, Expelled from the Hero's Party~."

Rude, a tank with the highest HP ever recorded. However, the hero unjustly determined that Rude possessed the worst skill—one that made him take more damage than anyone else—and expelled him from the party. With no other option, Rude returned to his frontier town, where the Saintess who had trusted him came to meet him. As Rude began living with her, various problems arose, and by solving them, Rude gradually became famous.

Meanwhile, after expelling Rude, the hero failed to conquer dungeons. Rude's skill was to "take on the damage of his allies." Rude had been shouldering all the damage the hero would have otherwise taken.
