Chapters 3 through 12 of the light novel detail the characters' transition into a more settled life and their subsequent engagement in a unique baseball game, followed by preparations for a camping trip.
Following the resolution of a lord's problem and the purchase of a house, the group enjoys a period of calm. One afternoon, Kanade, clad in baseball attire, proposes a game of baseball. The current group consists of Rain, Kanade, Tania, Sora, Luna, Nina, and Tina. However, they are short of players for a full game. Kanade suggests a 3-on-3 match, having prepared a full set of baseball equipment, including uniforms and catcher's gear, much to Rain's surprise.
The teams are formed: Red Team (Rain, Sora, Nina) and Blue Team (Kanade, Tania, Luna), with Tina serving as the umpire. Rain expresses concern about the team balance, particularly Kanade and Tania being on the same team due to their formidable physical abilities, despite their questionable team chemistry. Nina and Sora, on Rain's team, are motivated by his encouragement. Kanade and Tania, fueled by a competitive rivalry with Rain, become intensely focused on the game. Tina, equipped in doll-sized catcher's gear, outlines the rules for their "irregular baseball" game: a 3-inning game with a 10-point difference leading to a "cold game" (equivalent to a mercy rule), bases only on first and second, and home runs hit over a specific hill. Crucially, magic and special abilities are permitted, turning the game into a "Strongest Species Baseball Riot Battle."
The game begins with the Red Team batting. Kanade pitches for the Blue Team, with Tania catching and Luna in the outfield. Kanade's first pitch is an incredibly fast fastball that demolishes a tree, shocking everyone. Despite the near-miss and the danger, Rain's teammates express unwavering confidence in his ability to handle it. Tina warns Kanade about wild pitches, threatening dinner exclusion as punishment, which terrifies her. Kanade, aiming for a straight pitch, breaks Rain's bat with her next throw, resulting in a strike. Rain struggles against Kanade's overwhelming speed, striking out twice. Sora and Nina, intimidated by Kanade's pitches, have their turns skipped.
The game shifts to the Blue Team's offense. Sora pitches for the Red Team, with Rain catching and Nina in the outfield. Kanade, aiming for a home run, faces Sora's "magic ball," which unpredictably curves and moves, causing her to miss and strike out. Luna also strikes out against Sora's pitch. Tania, however, manages to hit the ball, but Nina uses her teleportation ability to catch it mid-air, preventing a score. Luna strikes out without even swinging, claiming her bat is too weak.
In the third inning, with the Red Team trailing, Rain uses gravity manipulation to slow Kanade's fastball, hitting a fly ball that Luna fails to catch, resulting in a run for the Red Team. After Luna recovers from being hit by the ball, the game resumes. Rain scores another run, but Sora strikes out, ending the Red Team's turn.
In the bottom of the third, Kanade, now confident she can hit Sora's pitches, attempts another home run. However, Sora reveals a new ability: a powerful fastball, which Kanade fails to hit. Tania then faces Sora, who unleashes her true ultimate move: a super-fast, rotating ball that moves erratically. Tania, however, analyzes the pitch and hits a home run, tying the game. Luna then faces Sora, and using a fire magic attack to disrupt the ball's trajectory, manages to get on base. Kanade is up next, and the Red Team substitutes Nina as pitcher. Nina's pitches are incredibly fast, and she uses teleportation to catch the ball before it can be hit, resulting in strikes. Kanade, Tania, and Luna are all struck out by Nina, leading to the Red Team's victory.
After the game, the characters discuss playing again, with everyone wanting to team up with Nina. However, Nina expresses her desire to stay with Rain.
The narrative then shifts to preparations for a camping trip. Luna expresses a desire to go camping in nature. The group unanimously agrees, and they decide to go the day after tomorrow. The following day, they go shopping for supplies. Kanade, Tania, and Nina are tasked with buying food, while Sora searches for a suitable campsite. Rain and Tina handle the camping gear, with Tina demonstrating impressive bargaining skills.
The next day, they arrive at a beautiful riverside location. They set up tents, gather firewood, and prepare for their activities. Kanade and Tania fetch water, with Kanade being distracted by fish. Sora and Luna create a protective barrier against monsters. Tina efficiently gathers firewood using magic, with Nina storing it.
The chapters conclude with the group settling into their campsite, ready to enjoy their camping activities.
