Synopsis

On his deathbed, Kurei Yukito made a wish:

If he were to live again, he wanted to be a person who could understand others.

However, when Yukito next opened his eyes, he found himself in an alternate world, an age of conflict.

What's more, he was granted a skill that seemed to be a twisted interpretation of his dying wish.

Rescued by a rebel prince, Yukito served as a conversationalist for envoys from other nations, and though unaccustomed to it, he did his utmost to interact with others, desperately trying to live and fulfill his final wish in this alternate world.

But then.

Even for such a Yukito, as is common in a world of war, the shadow of battle was gradually creeping closer...
