A rookie monk, Jinuji Makoto, was diligently working during the Obon festival.

On his way home, he spotted a girl in Lolita fashion, only to be summoned to another world via "Saint Summoning." However, it seems the Lolita girl is the actual Saint, and Makoto was merely caught up in it. Then, the truth is revealed: he cannot return to his original world.

It's no use crying and wailing, so he resolves to live in this world. …as a monk.

However, a problem arises. Makoto is the subject of a particular misunderstanding. Perhaps because of this, the situation spirals in an unexpected direction.

This is the story of a rookie monk in another world, who, while using a special power, either throws those around him into disarray, or finds himself thrown into disarray…or so it's planned.
