Description
Makoto Takase, a university student and fujoshi who loves Boys' Love doujinshi, dies from overwork after staying up for three consecutive days to finish a new manga for Comiket.
The next place she woke up was on the second floor of a Western-style bakery, where an unfamiliar Western-style older brother was present. She herself had become a beautiful Western-style girl and was astonished to realize she had been reborn as Makoto Kimball (default name), the protagonist of "Blessings to the Sky of Light," an otome game for which she used to draw BL doujinshi.
As in the game, Makoto, who gained an exceptional light attribute during the magic attribute appraisal ceremony, was adopted into a baronial family. For three years, she diligently pursued manners and academics, growing as a person. On the eve of her entrance ceremony to Appleton Academy of Magic, Makoto makes a certain resolve.
"I'll aim for a friendship ending with the best friend character; dramatic situations are too much trouble."
But that wish was in vain. Arriving early at school to avoid the "encounter with the prince" event on the first day of enrollment, Makoto discovers the villainess Vivian harassing Carol, the best friend character. Lady Vivian, enraged by Makoto's impulsive intervention, orders her loyal knight, Michael, to strike Makoto...
This is a story about a fujoshi reborn into the world of an otome game who pays no attention to the handsome guys, flirts in a yuri-esque way with the heroine in the best friend role, and engages in factional struggles with the legitimate villainess.
Give it a try and read up to the fifth chapter. We promise an incredible sense of momentum and immersion.
