The protagonist, who passed away after a lifelong struggle with illness, is reborn in another world through a pact with God. Relying solely on the numerous skills and modern knowledge he secured as benefits for his reincarnation, along with his newly rejuvenated body, he begins a reclusive farming life in an abandoned village with no one else around—a lifestyle he himself desired. However, the slow life he had envisioned proves to be quite challenging once he actually starts it. Not only does he get flustered by the discrepancy between his ideals and reality, but the protagonist resolves these issues in an unconventional, often unexpected way. And his acquaintances are constantly at the mercy of the protagonist, who has no awareness of the unusual situations he's creating. This is a story depicting their extraordinary everyday lives.

The story is generally structured with alternating "reclusive production" and "eventful interaction" segments.
