The Oden Shopkeeper Haruko's Eccentric Journey to Another World

Description

【Volumes 1-2 released by Hifumi Shobo】

【Comic adaptation project underway】△〇■ー)))

Haruko is the owner of an oden street stall, a cantankerous old woman.

Sake is limited to two *go* per person, and only one brand.

If chilled, it's served as is; if warm, it's poured into a *tokkuri* and slowly heated.

Besides oden, she offers rice balls with *umeboshi* and sesame salt on white rice, and sweet *inari* sushi.

With wooden chairs that are full with just four customers, it's simply an oden stand where already tipsy salarymen complain about their companies after visiting several other establishments.

Yet, despite being just such an oden stand, she began to travel to unknown worlds whenever she clapped her hands twice at the Inari shrine she always visited.

But Haruko doesn't change at all. She simply serves oden to her customers, anytime, anywhere.

An oden stand simply serves warm oden to its visiting customers.

Just that alone, slightly changed their destinies, creating a heartwarming oden ensemble drama set in a world where various people's lives intersect.

◆ Subtitles containing "Sarame" are Haruko's oden chapters.

Subtitles numbered with [] tell the "after stories" of the local protagonists who appeared in the oden chapters.

The Minerva arc includes romance elements, and the St. Norris arc includes school-friendship elements. Thank you for your support.

※Please note: After the series began, I re-checked laws related to mobile businesses operating with pull-carts... I recommend that those familiar with food-related laws refrain from reading. My apologies, the author is an idiot!

Please proceed at your own leisure only if you are an adult who can accept Haruko's world as either slightly in the past compared to modern times, or as pure fantasy.

February 2, 2022 Addendum

As an interlude in the series, a new arc following Anton and friends' school life, "Ah, Youthful St. Norris," has begun.
