Anna, a Saintess, has always worked diligently, despite being scorned for her orphan status. However, when she is chosen as the Prince's fiancée over Noemi, another Saintess beloved by all, the disdain from those around her intensifies.

Amidst this, Anna is asked by the Bishop to undergo the "Divine Ritual" to protect the kingdom. The Divine Ritual is a ceremony where one is placed alive into a coffin and enshrined. Though reluctant, Anna ultimately succumbs to the pressure from those around her and agrees.
