Duchess Delphina is engaged to Crown Prince Roldan, but Roldan holds another lady dear to his heart.

Delphina fears that if she proceeds with this 'marriage' lacking trust, she will be exploited for the rest of her life.

After completing her royal consort education, Delphina decides to request the 'Queen's Elixir,' a potion that would nullify their engagement, which she is permitted to choose.

When the fiancé drinks the elixir concocted by the Queen, their soul swaps with the Crown Prince, and the fiancé, now in the Crown Prince's body, falls into a three-day slumber.

Upon awakening, their souls return to their original bodies, and the fiancé is said to have lost all memories.

The Queen then grants the fiancé a new identity, and the engagement is annulled.

She wishes to find hope in a life prepared for her by the Queen, who was her late mother's friend.

Such was the depth of her despair concerning Prince Roldan.

Delphina decides to convert all memories from her life up to that point into chips,

and place all her chips on an unseen future—.
