Young Viscount Ark, who had come to the border to welcome the princess, took command and pursued her trail but couldn't find her. Further investigation revealed that the princess had been treated quite poorly and had departed without proper escort.

It was determined that she had been in a severely damaged carriage found along the way, and she was presumed dead.

Ark, who had become emotionally invested while investigating the princess, fell into a deep depression. His worried superior granted him leave, but Ark wandered the streets, his mind clearly elsewhere.

However, upon seeing a girl he passed by, he became convinced: She was Princess Sonia.

She, who had been presumed dead, was somehow alive.

Not letting this miraculous coincidence slip away, Ark spoke to her... and from there, their relationship began to move in an unexpected direction.

I have tried to write it so that it can be understood on its own as much as possible, but I believe reading the previous work will convey the protagonist's feelings even more deeply.
