Elizabeth, who had been continuously abused even by the mansion's servants, held onto the last hope of dissolving the marriage by maintaining its unconsummated state. But her husband's despicable trap easily shattered that hope. And so, her maidenhood and her life were cruelly taken from her.

Surrounded by flames, cursing her fate for the heartless treatment she endured, her life should have ended. Yet, when she came to, she was in a carriage heading towards the royal capital, just before her wedding.

Given a chance to redo things as time rewound, Elizabeth vows not to make the same mistake again and takes action. Her goal isn't an unconsummated marriage, but a harmonious—or even if not harmonious, just a divorce.

Armed with three years of memories, she carves out a new path, changing her circumstances.

During her time of oppression, she painstakingly learned various skills for work. Using the knowledge she gained, she aimed to become an independent woman. But then, the Grand Duke, her childhood friend whom she reunited with, seems to be growing increasingly doting.
