It was on his fifth birthday that Alan Clavel remembered everything.

These were what one might call memories of a past life, and soon after, he discovered that magic existed in this world.

And to his astonishment, this magic was built from something eerily familiar: a programming language.

However, his hope of using the magic he had always admired was short-lived, as Alan was quickly met with disappointment.

This was because the very code that built the magic was what one would call "shit code."

But this realization, ironically, ignited Alan's passion.

He couldn't tolerate that the magic he adored was built upon such a mess.

Resolved, Alan decided his first step would be to start analyzing the magic, determined to fix it.
