Declaring, "Someone with such a vulgar skill as you is not fit for a Marquis family!" Charlotte was promptly driven out of her home.

While wandering in the forest, Charlotte is attacked by a low-level monster, a "Slime." Desperately recalling magic she had learned in the past, she somehow manages to defeat it, only for the Slime to surprisingly transform into sherbet.

Charlotte, however, was hesitant to eat monsters. Unable to bear her hunger any longer, she put the sherbet into her mouth. But then.

"It's delicious?!"

The sherbet was more delicious than anything she had ever tasted.

"I've decided! From now on, I shall hunt and eat monsters to make my living!!"
