Description
Setto, the heir to a count's family, was officially declared dead from illness and banished from the household.
They had no use for a good-for-nothing who couldn't fulfill the duties of a noble.
He was cast adrift in an uncontrollable spaceship with no destination, given only ten days' worth of food. It was tantamount to a death sentence by starvation.
However, Setto was rescued by a band of passing space pirates and succeeded in activating a space fortress left behind by an ancient super-civilization.
The pirates suggested he "take this fortress and return to your count's family," but Setto chose not to return to the noble house and instead cast his lot with the pirates.
This turn of events would spark a massive war, engulfing all of humanity.
Setto would find himself embroiled at its very heart.
