An anime adaptation has been greenlit, scheduled to broadcast in July 2019.

Akira Oono, an ordinary office worker, is transported to another world while logged into his character, the "Demon Lord" from a game he manages. He begins a journey with a girl he meets there who has a disabled leg, but the "Demon Lord," possessing overwhelming power, could not be ignored by those around him.

Targeted by nations and saints seeking to subjugate the Demon Lord, the group stirs up trouble wherever they go.
