Description

It was her, on that day, by that sea, who taught me the meaning of life──

Kengo Osakabe, a young man responsible for a major bus accident that claimed many lives, abandons everything and travels to Jodogahama, a scenic spot in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture, for recuperation.

There, he meets Honoka Shirakisawa, a university student. As he spends his recuperation at the guesthouse her maternal family operates, he gradually realizes he is falling for her.

Eventually, the two fall in love. But the oppressive past of causing a major accident rests on his shoulders like a cross of guilt.

"Please wait for just two years."

The day after he reaches his conclusion following agonizing deliberation, he uncovers Honoka Shirakisawa's astonishing truth──.
