Rolan, an appraiser, is expelled from the "Golden Hawk" guild he belonged to.

The cause was Guild Master Lucius's one-sided jealousy.

Devastated and hurt by the sudden declaration of dismissal, Rolan is offered a helping hand by the female mage Lilianne.

Rolan resolves to make Lucius regret his decision with her help, and together they decide to establish their own guild.

Eventually, thanks to Rolan's appraisal skills, those whose hidden talents are uncovered will go on to form the strongest guild.
