Having been a shut-in for 300 years, Edson, a high elf, one day learns a shocking truth. He had assumed it was merely three all-nighters (three days without sleep), only to discover it was actually 300 all-nighters (300 years without sleep).

Having immersed himself tirelessly in the research of magical artifacts and never even known love, Edson suddenly decided to venture out into the world. Anxiety gnawed at him; after all, it had been 300 years. Wouldn't the magical artifacts he had spent ages creating now be long relegated to the status of moldy antiques?

Armed with these 'overpowered' magical artifacts, the high elf artificer sometimes uses his tools to defeat extraordinary magical beasts, shoots dragons between the eyes, and rebuilds failing magic guilds.
