Krein von Asgard was just an ordinary lord like any other. He had been ruling his peaceful territory without incident when, one day, an army was suddenly dispatched from a Marquisate, leading to the annihilation of the Asgard territory.

Krein himself met his end—or so he thought, but he awoke in his own bed, realizing he had returned to three years before its downfall.
