The story begins with Soaris, the "Saint," being sentenced to 300 years in prison for possessing and using forbidden magic potions, specifically "Super Magic Water." She vehemently denies the charges, protesting her innocence as the trial proceeds with alarming speed. Knights discovered the Super Magic Water in her room, and despite her pleas for further investigation, the court, influenced by prominent figures expressing disappointment and concern for the kingdom's prestige, seems set on her conviction. Her younger sister, Ridea, appears as a witness, coldly stating that Soaris's past achievements were likely due to the magic-amplifying effects of the Super Magic Water, a revelation that deeply wounds Soaris.
Soaris reflects on her past, recalling her dedication to protecting the kingdom from threats like the Demon King and an evil god, and the joyous welcomes she received. She remembers her parents' pride and the happy times with Ridea. Ridea's testimony, however, paints a picture of deceit, claiming Soaris's room was searched and evidence found, which Soaris finds suspicious given her habit of not locking her room. She realizes Ridea has framed her. Ridea then reveals her true intentions, confessing that the 300-year sentence is a lie and that she used a forbidden magic tool, the "Nether Sphere," to seal Soaris. This sealing was the result of meticulous planning, cooperation, and Soaris's own carelessness. Soaris attempts to resist but the Nether Sphere is impervious to all magic and physical interference. Ridea, driven by jealousy and a twisted sense of admiration, seals Soaris away, declaring her "no longer needed."
Trapped in the darkness of the Nether Sphere, Soaris dedicates herself to developing an escape method. She realizes that direct escape or destruction is impossible with current magic. Through intense thought and experimentation, she develops a new form of spatial magic, a "future magic" that allows her to break free. She emerges into a dark cave, realizing Ridea hid her there. Using her newly acquired spatial magic, she navigates the cave, encountering and effortlessly defeating a powerful monster called a Dark Serpent with a new skill, "Spatial Severance." She also checks her own stats, noting her immense magical power and a skill called "Magic Master: Complete Understanding of Magic Formulas," which allows her to comprehend and use any magic.
Emerging from the cave, Soaris finds herself in a forest and encounters a young girl, Elna, fighting a monster. Soaris intervenes, using her spatial magic to quickly dispatch the monster. She introduces herself as "Soa" to avoid revealing her identity as the disgraced Saint. They travel to the town of Kadina, which is surprisingly desolate and lacking in activity. Elna explains that the town's decline began 20 years ago with the "Saint Soaris sealing incident," a revelation that shocks Soaris, as she realizes she has been sealed for two decades. She learns that the kingdom has changed drastically, with a new organization called "Hunters" gaining popularity over the Adventurer's Guild.
Soaris and Elna visit the Adventurer's Guild, where Soaris registers as an adventurer. She learns about the increased difficulty of obtaining a rank due to a surge in monsters and the appearance of unknown ones. They then witness a group of thugs, calling themselves a "vigilante group," harassing Elna. Soaris intervenes, easily defeating them with her spatial magic, though she chooses not to kill them, instead healing their injuries to instill fear and respect. The thugs reveal they are loosely affiliated with the "Hunters," a shadowy organization.
Soaris decides to help Elna's sick mother, using her advanced healing magic to cure her. Elna's mother, recognizing Soaris's kindness, likens her to the Saint. Soaris, still in hiding, accepts this comparison but keeps her true identity secret. The vigilante group returns for revenge, but Soaris easily defeats their leader and his men, demonstrating her overwhelming power.
A month later, the town of Kadina shows signs of recovery, partly due to Soaris's efforts in clearing out monster nests and Rex, a former vigilante, training new recruits. Elna has also become a capable adventurer. A wounded Royal Knight arrives, reporting that the capital is under attack by monsters. Soaris, realizing the severity of the situation, decides to travel to the capital, leaving Elna to continue her training and protect the town. Elna is distraught but trusts Soaris.
Meanwhile, Prince David and Ridea are shown in a clandestine meeting. David, resentful of being overlooked, reveals his role in framing and sealing Soaris, using the Super Magic Water and the Nether Sphere. He expresses his ambition to rule and his reliance on Ridea. They are interrupted by news of a monster attack on the capital, but David refuses to participate, leaving it to his brother, the King. He continues to manipulate Ridea, reinforcing their shared ambition.
The story concludes with Soaris arriving at the capital, which is in chaos due to a massive monster invasion. She encounters the Royal Knight again, who recognizes her and reveals the extent of the attack. Soaris, now a renowned adventurer, prepares to face the crisis, her past as the Saint a secret she must keep while she works to save the kingdom.
