Description

The story unfolds on a desolate future Earth.

One day, the protagonist finds himself possessed by the soul-devouring demon sword, 'Muramasa'. Whenever the demon sword hungers, it takes control of him, sending him on a rampage.

Fortunately, the demon sword prioritizes villains and monsters, but if its hunger reaches a critical point, it could turn on innocent civilians.

"If anyone discovers I'm possessed by this weapon, I'll be executed." With this thought, the protagonist began to feign being a 'Punisher' who hunts evil of his own accord, rather than merely being controlled by the demon sword.

Consequently, those around him mistakenly began to view him — a mere puppet of the demon sword — as an incredibly formidable individual...?

"Perish, evil! (Please, no more impossible requests! I'm just an ordinary person being controlled!)"

And so, beneath his resolute facade, the protagonist continues his reluctant, yet unparalleled, rampage today...!
