One day, the protagonist Takashi was shopping on an e-commerce site as usual.

To purchase a light novel he was recently hooked on, which he read during his commute or lunch breaks, he was searching for products when an item with an intriguing title caught his eye.

It was called "Otherworldly Life Rights"—intrigued, he looked at the product description. Finding the text and reviews highly amusing, he bought it on a whim.

However, it seemed the rights were real, for when he woke up after sleeping, he found himself in another world.

It was a world like an RPG game, with concepts such as 'stats,' where people fought using magic, swords, and more.

With renewed hope and excitement, he began a slow life, and there he met a young girl.
