The protagonist is reborn as a character from a game they played in their previous life. That character was Kururi Heran, a man who fell from grace alongside the villainess and spent their twilight years together as husband and wife.

He was a minor character whose background wasn't fully explored in the game, leaving the reasons for his union with the villainess a mystery. But that's beside the point.

He's determined not to live as a poor farmer, no matter who he ends up with, so he decides to acquire a trade. For the time being, he aims to become a blacksmith, a trade he already possesses a talent for.
