Summoned by Balan, the Commander of the Knights, I—Abel—was informed of my dismissal.

In this world, upon turning eight, the Goddess bestows a special ability, a Skill.

My Skill, [Buff Master], was the power to increase others' stats by a few percent.

When I received it, everyone mocked it as a "dud Skill."

However, by continuously using a Skill, its Skill Level rises, and it becomes more powerful.

I believed in myself and continued to use my Skill every day for eight years.

"…Are you truly sure about this? My Skill has not only increased its buff (enhancement) target count to 3,000 people, but its effect has also evolved to a 10x increase in all stats. If this is gone, it will be a significant drop in our combat power…"

With that power, I saved a princess who was attacked by assassins from a hostile nation and was appointed commander of the newly established Magic Knights.

Meanwhile, Commander Balan's "strongest" Knights, having lost my buffs, were shrouded in dark clouds.

This is the story of a boy who was continuously mocked for having a "dud Skill," who rises to power with that strength, is doted on by a princess, and becomes a national hero.
