Marquis Orlans of the Libetium Empire had a princess named Siltiana, who was truly... ugly and ill-tempered.

Mocked as 'The Ragweed Princess of the Libetium Empire,' she was one day scorned by the official consort and murdered in the Dark Forest, a place where monsters dwell.

Though rescued by a passing witch, upon her resurrection, she regained memories of her past life as a male high school student on Earth, and subsequently began living in the forest as the witch's apprentice.

Figuring, 'Noble life seems so complicated and troublesome, I'll just live as a commoner from now on,' she casually decided to abandon her noble status. With renewed determination, she also undertook a diet during her witch training. She intended to live quietly, yet after overdoing things in various ways, she found herself in a self-inflicted predicament, wondering, 'Huh? Where did my life plan of living secretly as a weed go?'

This is primarily a heartwarming fantasy story. While the characters are familiar fairy-tale archetypes—princes, witches, and wicked consorts—the protagonist is far too resilient for things to go as expected.

Note: The setting is the same continent as the previous work (Vampire Princess), but the era is over 100 years later.
