This spring, Arata Shindo returned to his hometown, where he had lived until fifth grade, to coincide with his enrollment in high school.

He had been living at his maternal grandparents' home until his third year of middle school to care for his grandmother. However, his grandmother passed away at the end of the year, prompting his return to his hometown, so he had taken the entrance exam for Greenhama High School.

Having successfully passed the Greenhama High School entrance exam, Arata was filled with hope, eager to make up for his middle school years by actively engaging in club and committee activities, making friends, and fully enjoying his high school life.

However, on the very first day of high school, a female student looked at Arata and suddenly burst into tears.
