Ernest is the third son of the House of Count Vionetti. Upon reaching adulthood, unable to inherit the family estate, he chooses the path of an adventurer to survive.

His only reliable assets are his unique skill "Demonic Bullet," which he can't quite master, and the knowledge gleaned from his family's treasured tome, "Tales of Otherworld Summoning."

Despite being prejudged due to his "Calamity-level" brothers, he diligently attends the guild every day.

This is the story of his quiet, determined rise as an adventurer, armed only with his beloved, bible-like family heirloom, "Tales of Otherworld Summoning," and his decidedly mediocre skills in both sword and magic.
