Description
Adonis Mifer, the Duke's son, has an fiancée named Erudina Sharentos, the Duke's daughter.
This lady is persistent; she intrudes upon the ducal residence on holidays, and even at the Royal Academy, Erudina is very jealous and doesn't seem to like Adonis getting along with other ladies.
"While you have me as your fiancée, please do not get along with other ladies."
She nags him with these warnings.
So, when Erudina came to the mansion, he told her off.
"I detest persistent women. Don't intrude every holiday. I want to relax. I don't want to go out to town with you, and I don't want to hear your stories. If you weren't my fiancée, I'd kick you out. Go home right now."
Erudina went home crying.
The next day, he apologized, feeling he had said too much, but Erudina's attitude was cold.
She seems to be engrossed in a woman named Maria. Who is this Maria?
This is a story about Adonis regretting his cold attitude.
