There's a legendary bishojo game that took Japanese gentlemen by storm.

It's 『Magical★Explorer』, commonly known as "Magiex" or "Majiero."

I had become the protagonist of this game—the one with cheat-like abilities, who flirts with twelve beautiful heroines, and whose harem expands with an append disc (additional patch) bringing the total to twenty-four! …………Or so I thought. Instead, I became the comic relief character, grinning foolishly by his side.

Of course, I despaired at first.

It was only natural. If I were the protagonist, I could have twenty-four heroines attending to me and unleash overwhelming cheat abilities. But I'm just the comic relief. There isn't a single heroine assigned to me.

But I stopped caring about being the protagonist or about the heroines. That's because I encountered 『Magic』.

As I used magic, I grew interested in it and yearned to master it. I wanted to become the strongest through magic. And so, I made a decision.

I'll partially abandon my role as the protagonist's friend and train my magic. And then,

The Majiero protagonist will grow strong enough to defeat even the Demon Lord solo. I'll take down that cheater!
