One day, Rena suddenly found herself transported to another world with her cousin, Anna.

It was a world of magic and monsters, inhabited by many races such as humans, beastfolk, elves, and dwarves. Having been brought to this other world and told she was a beastman's 'mate,' she found there was no way back to her original world.

However, Rena's designated 'mate' failed to appear at the 'unveiling ceremony,' which was actually a matchmaking event. He never appeared, no matter how long she waited, leaving Rena all alone.

「Well, I guess I'm not destined for love.」

Giving up on romance, Rena set out into the city.
