Eil, an apprentice hunter from Albat Village, is self-conscious about people's gazes.

When he turns 15, at the Selection Ceremony where one is counted as an adult, Eil is declared to possess "the predisposition for glasses."

Glasses?

He has no idea what that means.

However, Eil gradually begins to discover the numerous possibilities that these "glasses" hold.

"With these 'glasses,' I might even be able to conquer the world... not that I will, though."

Thus begins the peculiar "glasses life" of Eil, the boy with glasses.
