Yuji Hojo, 30 years old, unemployed, and a recluse for 10 years. Prompted by the death of his parents, he resolves to break free from his reclusive life and steps outside his home. However, what he finds is an other world filled with unfamiliar landscapes and fantasy creatures roaming freely. This is the story of a young man who, along with his entire house, was transported to this other world. Relying on mysteriously connected lifelines and the internet, he lives a relatively laid-back life with his beloved dog, Kotaro. While exploring the forest around his house, Yuji shelters Alice, a young girl from the other world, and begins to cultivate the forest to secure food. Then, in the fourth year since his transfer to the other world, Yuji finally sets out for his first city.
