In the class of Shido Rintaro, a high school student aspiring to be a stay-at-home husband, was Etsuzaki Rei, a member of the popular idol group "Mille-Feuille Stars." Rintaro, having no deep interest in idols, accepted this as a fact and lived his life without particular involvement. One day, a turning point arrives for him.

When Rintaro inadvertently helps Etsuzaki Rei, who is on the verge of collapsing at the nearest station, he discovers she's too hungry to move due to her rigorous lessons. Rintaro reluctantly prepares a home-cooked meal for her, telling her that this would be their only interaction――.

"I'll pay you 300,000 yen a month. On top of that, I'll cover food expenses for two. So, feed me every day."

Though Rintaro is wary of such an attractive offer, as he comes to understand her pure heart, their bond gradually deepens. As he gains the affection of the Mille-Feuille Stars members beyond Etsuzaki and even saves them from their predicaments, they gradually become irreplaceable to each other.
