『New Communicate Online』 (also known as 『Nekomimi Offline』) is a VR game that, due to its abundance of bugs, is, in a way, popular.
Soma Sagara, its avid fan, is transported into the game world by the power of a mysterious item.
Though Soma is surprised by the sudden turn of events, it is the game world he knows inside out.
Mastering every bug and turning the game's mechanics to his advantage, he eventually came to be known as 'Soma, the Odd Sword User'.
