Luarsha, a commoner attending a magic academy, meets Willem, the King's younger brother and also a teacher, while searching for wild herbs to save money on lunch.

Eventually, Luarsha falls in love with Willem, but due to their difference in social standing, not only is a mutual love out of the question, but she will even lose all contact with him after graduating from the academy.

After much agonizing, Luarsha's solution was to amplify her own magical power using "a certain method" and get a job at the academy.

However, that method incurs Willem's wrath—?!
