In the spring of my fifteenth year.

Just as I achieved my long-cherished dream of becoming an S-rank knight, His Majesty the King suddenly gave me that order.

"Being a captain sounds like too much trouble."

I only became an S-rank knight because I heard they're popular with the ladies, but a heavy position like captain…

"Your subordinates are all beauties, you know?"

"I'll do it!"

And so, I reluctantly became captain.

Looking at the squad roster I was handed, the unit was composed of four members in total: me and three female knights.

Two of the female knights were seventeen.

The other female knight was nineteen (my homeroom teacher).

"Um… they're all older than me."

"But they're all beauties, you know?"

"I'll do my best!"

Or so I said.

Still, being made subordinate to an inexperienced youngster like me, wouldn't they have something to complain about?

The next morning, as I was thinking this,

a female knight, who was to be my subordinate, knocked on the front door of my family home!
