In modern 21st-century Japan, I was just an adult entertainment staff member. After I died from overwork and was drifting in a dark space, a woman calling herself Benzaiten directly appealed to my heart to save courtesans. For some reason, I then found myself reincarnated as the owner of an Oiran-mise, the highest-class establishment in the Yoshiwara pleasure quarters of the Edo period.

However, life in the Yoshiwara pleasure quarters of that era had many terrible aspects... So, I thought, why not improve the living environment for everyone involved, including myself, and furthermore, if possible, change the tragic future of Yoshiwara where syphilis runs rampant and courtesans are treated as disposable?

That's the gist of the story.

It contains quite a few convenient plot devices, so it may not be suitable for those who seek realism.

Furthermore, as it is set in a peaceful Edo period, there are no wars for control of the land.

Please note: While it was generally not customary to officially call samurai by their imina (personal name), clarity has been prioritized in this aspect.
